Founding Vision
The aim of education is to convert minds of students into living fountains and not reservoirs. They have to give what they have earned to make this world a better one. Our school always aims to sensitize the young minds towards present day social condition and encourage them to be instrumental in the change required.
The New Cambridge High School from its inception served the poorest of the poor and provided the necessary opportunity to those denied. The school was started in Vijayanagar, in the year 1968 and RPC Layout branch during the year 1980 by Revered Dr. G. Louisa Manohari. As the Principal of this Institution she started our school with a new vision which was uncommon at that time.
The founding vision of this school always looks beyond any of our accepted perception and challenges, to look forward to serve community at large.
The Management has been accorded permission to start Pre-university College and has also decided to commence ICSE pattern school from the academic year 2002 at RPC branch which is progressing smoothly, efficiently and effectively with desirable outcomes. In short, the school prepares the pupils from the Nursery upto Std. ‘X’, English is the medium of instruction.
Initially the school was started at the Nursery level, as the years passed by, the school expanded both in the strength & activities. Being co-educational – the present strength of the school is nearly 10,000. All-round education in various subjects and activities is imparted to pupils without distinction of caste, creed or religion. Classes are held in Nursery, Primary & High School sections.

Addmission Guidelines
Admission Policy
Admission is subject to prescribed age limits, availability of seats, and fitness of the student, and is governed by the rules of the Educational Department and the Institution. Admission is not a matter of right and the decision of the school authorities is final.
Application & Formalities
All students must apply afresh and complete the admission formalities within the stipulated time. Parents of selected candidates must agree to follow school rules and pay all prescribed fees.
Limited Seats & Conduct
As seats are limited, parents are advised to apply early. Canvassing or seeking admission through mediators is strictly prohibited.
Regular Classroom
Classroom designed adequately spacious and functionally useful are equipped with comfortable furniture, seating arrangements with ideal ventilation, lighting and cleanliness. Emphasis is laid on streaming with the provision of supplier and materials, aesthetic art and crafts. Creating a congenial classroom environment to produce wholesome and attractive charisma than routine class work.
AV Room-Interactive Board
School facilitates learning intent of capitalizing whole knowledge of programs and application of what is learned by the provision of computer programme based audio visual equipments. A large spacious room with required equipment, furniture and atmosphere for presenting organised instructional material on major subjects in the syllabi and corrective feedback using innovative softwares, fostering greater interdisciplinary activity to increase the effectiveness of the teaching and consolidation of aiming is noteworthy.
Art & Craft, Music, Drama
Prominence is added to the use of expertise in the significant areas of school curriculum of special activities with space and equipment. Art work is carried on regularly in the art room equipped with essential materials for the art work under the expert guidance of qualified teachers. Beside, material and facilities, proficient guidance for unraveling music is provided along with well designed acoustic requirements by using space seperately.
